Seegrid Corporation, the leader in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for material handling, today announced it has expanded its executive leadership team, welcoming Todd Graves to the newly created role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The executive leadership expansion supports the company’s continued fast-tracked growth driven by product innovations and growing demand. The company recently announced multiple new products, including the autonomous Palion Lift, the newly enhanced Palion Pallet Truck AMR, and Fleet Geek, a cloud-based data analytics software that gives Seegrid customers on demand visibility into their Palion AMR performance across their enterprise.
Seegrid’s automation technology solutions—leveraging unique navigation technology first brought to market in 2003 by world-renowned roboticist and the company’s Chief Scientist Dr. Hans Moravec—includes enterprise software and mobile robots, which have logged millions of miles in live production environments for blue-chip, global manufacturing, warehousing and logistics companies, making Seegrid the brand of choice for flexible, reliable, and scalable industrial automation.
“Seegrid is the leading innovator of automated material handling vehicles. Our proprietary technology remains unmatched and is foundational to our ability to deliver trusted, proven industrial automation solutions,” said Jim Rock, Seegrid’s Chief Executive Officer. “We’re delighted to appoint Todd as our first CTO to build on this success. His wealth of experience in leading technology teams will be instrumental to taking our technology to the next level of success.”
Graves will lead the company’s engineering and technology development functions, including R&D, new product development, software development and perception technology. He brings over 20 years of experience building and driving top-line growth, having served in technology leadership roles in the US Air Force and at General Electric, Textron, Allegion, and recently at SharkNinja where he was Senior Vice President of Robotics.
“We are at a tipping point as businesses across the world reimagine how to move material, and are turning to Seegrid, a mobile robotics leader with unique insights into material handling, to help do just that,” said Todd Graves. “I couldn’t be more excited to join the team that delivers the most innovative industrial automation solutions on the market, and devise and deliver new technologies for Seegrid customers to not only survive but thrive.”
