ProMat is the material handling and logistics industry's premier global event. In 2023, ProMat will have more than 40,000 attendees representing the world’s largest retailers, leading supply chain innovators, and industry experts. Seegrid has attended ProMat for years, and over that time we’ve launched new products, met collaborators, and created the framework for some of our most successful partnerships. This year, there are more opportunities than ever to network, learn, and get an inside scoop on some of the most exciting developments in the industry. Here are 5 of the biggest reasons why ProMat 2023 is the can’t miss supply chain event of the year:
1. We’ve got something game changing to show you.
This year we are demonstrating a brand new feature for our Palion AMRs: fully automated cart-loading and unloading. This is one of the first true cases of AMR interoperability. If you're not familiar with interoperability, it refers to the ability for computer systems to communicate and interact with one another. For our AMRs, this means that our Palion Lift and Palion Tow Tractors can now work together to load and unload carts with zero human interaction. Why is this a big deal? Well, for starters, we’re expanding the potential of automation for our customers. You can automate more complex workflows, drive more value, and a whole lot more. Make sure you stop by booth #N7120 to watch it live.
2. You can get up close and personal with our Palion AMRs.
We’re looking forward to giving attendees the opportunity to get up close and personal with our Palion AMRs. We never miss a chance to show off what our AMRs are capable of. This year our demo will feature three vehicles and we’ll be showcasing features like: our self-charging solution for AMRs (Auto-Charge), the autonomous handling of different load types, and lane staging. We’ll also have a demo of our enterprise fleet management and analytics platform: Fleet Central. Seeing our AMRs up close will give you the opportunity to see the potential for AMRs in your own operations and get you started on your automation journey.
3. You get the opportunity to see how autonomous pallet movement streamlines operations.
The flow of pallet-sized loads is continuous, complex, and often difficult to manage—making up the bulk of the costs and time of personnel working in a warehouse. Seegrid is hosting an educational session showing you how companies are leveraging autonomous forklifts to increase reliability, safety, and productivity all without changes to infrastructure. To learn more, attend our session on Tuesday, March 21st at 12:00PM in Theater A.
4. The opportunity to learn from and collaborate with industry leaders and experts.
Getting to collaborate with and learn from industry leaders and experts makes ProMat one of our favorite events. ProMat offers a diverse and dynamic environment for meaningful conversations that challenge the industry to think differently and push us all to innovate. At the end of the day, ProMat is a must-attend for anyone looking to stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of supply chain management and material handling.
5. A sneak peak at some of the most important data points in the industry.
The past two years of COVID-19 and economic uncertainty have reinforced the need to leverage actionable insights for decision-making. ProMat has one of the best opportunities to get those data points for the future of the industry: a first look at the 2023 Annual Industry Report. A dedicated session led by Wanda Johnson of Deloitte and John Paxton of MHI will take a deep dive on the findings, including a focus on the technologies that have the most potential to transform supply chains and projected adoption rates of these technologies, as well as an analysis of common barriers to adoption. The session wraps with a comprehensive review by a panel of industry experts and thought leaders to help attendees translate these data points into actionable insights.
